Lovely Copper Glazed Lusterware pitcher with a charming bright sunflower yellow interior, banding and floral painted effect.  Lustreware or Lusterware is a type of pottery or porcelain with a metallic glaze that gives the item an iridescent over glaze using metallic oxides.  It’s a very, very old art process.  This pitcher is likely from the late 1800’s early 1900’s.  We just love the colors.  It needs to be packed with fabulous cobalt blue hydrangeas!!  6 inches in diameter at the widest part; 4 inches tall.  Lovely size for your kitchen windowsill.  Would make an exceptional gift. Mint condition.
